چکیده

This study aimed to introduce a smart multifunctional textile composed of phase change material, i.e., polyethylene glycol (PEG), with potential for thermo-regulative biomedical application. PEG was efficiently form-stabilized polycaprolactone, and the nanofibers mats were developed by electrospinning overcome leakage issue during process. Gelatin curcumin also incorporated enable performance textiles. The results revealed that electrospun possessed randomly oriented morphology, sufficient water absorption capability, good mechanical properties, excellent performance. fibers' diameter varied from 220 nm 370 nm, tensile strength ranging 10 30 MPa. Furthermore, fabricated latent heat 61.7 J/g reliable energy absorption-release cyclability over 100 heating-cooling cycles. curcumin-loaded textiles an initial burst release followed sustained one week. They further presented significant antioxidant activity 81.23.7 ± 3.08 % after 24 h, introducing great application as dressing diminish inflammation cooling effect.

Biomedical applications of ferulic acid encapsulated electrospun nanofibers

Ferulic acid is a ubiquitous phytochemical that holds enormous therapeutic potential but has not gained much consideration in biomedical sector due to its less bioavailability, poor aqueous solubility and physiochemical instability. In present investigation, the shortcomings associated with agro-waste derived ferulic acid were addressed by encapsulating it in electrospun nanofibrous matrix of p...

Enhanced thermal conductivity of form-stable phase change composite with single-walled carbon nanotubes for thermal energy storage

A striking contrast in the thermal conductivities of polyethylene glycol (PEG)/diatomite form-stable phase change composite (fs-PCC) with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNs) as nano-additive has been reported in our present study. Compared to the pure PEG, the thermal conductivity of the prepared fs-PCC has increased from 0.24 W/mK to 0.87 W/Mk with a small SWCNs loading of 2 wt%. SWCNs are ...

Passivation coating on electrospun copper nanofibers for stable transparent electrodes.

Copper nanofiber networks, which possess the advantages of low cost, moderate flexibility, small sheet resistance, and high transmittance, are one of the most promising candidates to replace indium tin oxide films as the premier transparent electrode. However, the chemical activity of copper nanofibers causes a substantial increase in the sheet resistance after thermal oxidation or chemical cor...
